Elizabeth Madrigal, TreasurerContact: treasurer@artsofclarkcounty.orgElizabeth spent her early years in the arts as a classical violinist, music teacher and torch/jazz singer. She received her first by-line with the Mexico City News in 1984 and continues to write professionally. Her artistic passions also include working in clay, porcelain and watercolors. The first president in 1993 and founding member of the Ridgefield Art Association, she continues to play an active role in the association. Elizabeth was appointed in 2010 to represent Ridgefield on the Clark County Arts Commission and currently serves as Chair of the Communications Committee. A devoted arts advocate, she believes a healthy society must always include a thriving arts community with public support for public art, artists of all media and arts education. She hopes to contribute her experience and enthusiasm to the Arts of Clark County's community outreach efforts and a successful re-branding of Clark County as an arts and cultural destination. |

Temple Lentz, SecretaryContact: secretary@artsofclarkcounty.orgTemple Lentz is a communications professional and principal for Proof Creative, a strategic communications and political consulting firm based in Vancouver, Washington. Originally from the Midwest, she attended the University of Chicago and has lived in the Northwest since 2002. Temple has worked in academic publishing, theater production, and nonprofit management, and knows that someday she'll figure out what she wants to be when she grows up. In the meantime, she applies those experiences to consulting for others, freelance writing, pondering the Great American Novel, and volunteering. She also serves on the boards of Leadership Clark County and the Rose Village Neighborhood Association, where she lives with her husband, two adorable cats and the best, cutest dog in all the land. |

Pat La CroixContact: mplacroix@pacifier.comPat La Croix is a jewelry artist, watercolorist & photographer. After leaving the corporate world in 1993, she started on a path of exploration. She worked in oils and acrylics then took up the challenge of watercolor painting. Geology at Clark College shaped her understanding of the Pacific Northwest and sparked an interest in rocks. She then experimented with metal arts from small jewelry pieces to small sculptures and took the first metal sculpture class in conjunction with the Welding Program at Clark. After moving to two acres in the country, she took the WSU Master Gardener Class. Those skills and interests intersected in her current love of jewelry making, currently shown at Aurora Gallery, and she is represented at Avalon Gallery in Battle Ground. Her affiliations include founding member & current press chair of Battle Ground Art Alliance, current president of GFWC Battle Ground; member of FVRL Battle Ground Design Team; Master Gardener; member & past president of SWWS; member of Portland Bead Society & past Board Member of Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce. |

Scott CollardContact: promotions@artsofclarkcounty.orgJ. Scott Collard has been working in the Advertising Arts for more that 25 years. He operates a Corporate Branding & Graphic Design Boutique in Battle Ground, WA working with clients regionally and nationally. Creating their marketing programs for both print and web applications. In addition to serving on the board for the Arts of Clark County, he currently is on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver Children's Opera and the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce. He has worked for many years producing the marketing materials for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and has donated his talents to many organizations in Clark County, such as the Vancouver School of Arts & Academics, The Vancouver & Clark County Lewis & Clark Bi-centennial Celebration, and the Southwest Washington Performing Art Center Committee. He also understands the positive economic impact that a vibrant arts culture has on its community. The visual and performing arts have always been a part of Scott's life, and he is passionate to foster a climate that encourages the arts throughout Clark County. |

Dene Grigar, DevelopmentContact: development@artsofclarkcounty.orgDene Grigar is an Associate Professor and Director of The Creative Media & Digital Culture Program at Washington State University Vancouver whose research and arts practice focus in the area of electronic literature, emergent technology and cognition, and ephemera. She is the author of "Fallow Field: A Story in Two Parts" and “The Jungfrau Tapes: A Conversation with Diana Slattery about The Glide Project,” both of which have appeared in the Iowa Review Web, and When Ghosts Will Die (with Canadian multimedia artist Steve Gibson), a piece that experiments with motion tracking technology to produce networked narratives. Her most recent project is the “Fort Vancouver Mobile Project,” a locative / mixed media effort led by Brett Oppegaard and that brings together a core team of 23 scholars, digital storytellers, new media producers, historians, and archaeologists to create location-aware nonfiction content for mobile phones to be used at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Along with Arts of Clark County, Grigar also serves on the board of the Alexa Dyer Foundation, is a former board member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and works on the Marketing Committee for the Walk & Knock Annual Food Drive. |

Anne JohnContact: board@artsofclarkcounty.orAnne John has been a Northwest artist for 20 years. During her youth in Bellevue, Washington, Anne had the unique opportunity to study under William Cummings and Liesal Salzer, whose influential teachings cultivated her love of the painted figure. Anne furthered her technique by attending Washington State University, where she majored in visual art before moving to Vancouver to raise a family. She continued her education at PNCA in Portland, Oregon and the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts. In 1984, Anne established the Johanne School of Art, teaching children of all ages the principles for drawing and painting in a relaxed atmosphere supporting the freedom of expression. She also worked within the Vancouver School District, instructing youth in art history, drawing and painting, and helping elementary teachers incorporate art into their classroom lessons. Anne’s subjects are real people who model in thematic form. Her favorite models include her daughter and two daughters-in-law, though many friends have also found their way onto her canvases. Anne’s artwork often includes a variety of mediums, which highlight the narrative style she employs within a surreal framework. Recently her multilayered surfaces have involved collaged news articles related to the subject. A founder of the North Bank Artists Gallery in Vancouver, Washington. Her involvement in the Vancouver and Portland area art community includes serving as a juror for various shows, donating work for fundraising purposes and having her images featured in publications and newspapers. She currently produces 40 pieces of art in Vancouver, WA each year, where she maintains a studio. |
